The 29th NES Commencement Ceremony for the 2022 Graduates took place in Moscow in a mixed online and offline format. The ceremony was opened by NES Vice-Rector Zarema Kasabieva. The graduates and guests of the ceremony also were greeted by the NES Rector Ruben Enikolopov. Valery Makarov, NES President Emeritus, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as NES Professor Emeritus, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Viktor Polterovich joined the celebration online.
NES diplomas were awarded to 163 graduates: 26 on the MAE program, 44 on BAE, 38 on the MAF program, 3 on MSF, 2 on EDS, 50 on MiF. Almost 70% of graduates have already found a job, among the most popular industries this year are finance, IT and consulting. There are also graduates who have founded their own companies or have chosen the public sector. Seven graduates of 2022 will continue their studies at PhD programs of leading universities: Indiana University, University of Chicago, Stanford University, University of Michigan, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Bocconi University, Luiss and EIEF (Rome).
