This year, the New Economic School was again included in the prestigious international ranking of the best universities in the world - QS World University Rankings by Subject. The information was published in April 2024.
NES retained its position in the top-250 group (201 to 250th place) of the subject ranking "Economics and Econometrics." The list of this subject rating includes 560 universities, 16 Russian universities among them.
NES has been included in the QS ranking for the eighth consecutive year. The School first took a position in the QS subject ranking in 2017, immediately establishing itself in the top 200 globally and in the top 3 universities in Russia.
QS is one of the most well-known and authoritative international university rankings in the world. Institutions in the subject ranking are evaluated based on four criteria - academic reputation, employers' opinion, article citation index, and Hirsch index.
