NES Professor Olga Kuzmina Granted Tenure Position


NES Rector Ruben Enikolopov basing on the recommendations of NES International Advisory Board and NES Tenure and Promotions Committee approved Petr Aven Professor of Finance, NES professor Olga Kuzmina to the position of tenured professor.

Olga Kuzmina graduated from the Higher School of Economics and University of London with honors. She received her PhD in Finance from the Graduate School of Business of Columbia University in 2012.

Olga Kuzmina has been working at NES since 2011. She is a member of the American Finance Association, the American Economic Association, and the European Finance Association. Holds a Research Affiliate position in the Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR).

Her research interests include empirical corporate finance, broadly defined, with a particular interest in the interactions between corporate finance, labor economics, and international economics, and a focus on identification and applied methods. Her research has been published in the American Economic Review, Journal of Comparative Economics, Journal of Corporate Finance and others. Olga Kuzmina has received the Best Young Researcher award from IFABS. She has been a Research Advisory Board member of the Central Bank of Russia since 2018.
