NES is delighted to announce that Gerhard Toews will join the New Economic School as an assistant professor of economics in September 2018. Gerhard is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Oxford Centre for the Analysis of Resource Rich Economies (OxCarre), University of Oxford. Gerhard Toews, born in Kazakhstan, defended his PhD in Oxford in 2014. His research interests include natural resources and energy economics, labor economics, international economics, political economy and economic growth.
