Rector of New Economic School Ruben Enikolopov, approved important academic and professional promotions of NES professors Ozgur Evren and Hosny Zoabi. His decision was followed by the recommendation of the Promotion and Tenure Committee and the International Advisers Committee.
Tenure grants professors permanent employment at their university and protects them from being fired without a cause.
