Moscow Exchange Named Professor, NES Professor Anna Obizhaeva will become the new director of Master in Finance Program (CFA Institute University Affiliation Program) at the New Economic School. She will be taking over the position from Alexey Goriaev.
Anna Obizhaeva holds a PhD in finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is a full professor and a member of NES Academic Board. Her research area includes market microstructure, institutional trading, financial stability and financial crises, transaction costs models, and liquidity.
Alexey Goriaev has served as the director of the program continuously since its establishment in 2007. NES leadership would like to thank Alexey for his invaluable contribution to the creation and development of the program throughout all the years. Alexey will continue to work at NES as a senior lecturer.
