The Saxon Academy of Sciences has elected Shlomo Weber as a Corresponding Member


NES President and Professor, Academic Head of the NES Center for the Study of Diversity and Social Interactions Shlomo Weber during the plenary session on 8th of February was elected as a Corresponding Member of the Saxon Academy of Sciences in Leipzig. 

The Saxon Academy of Sciences was founded in 1846 and it is one of the oldest scientific European communities. The Academy is structured in three equal Classes: the Mathematical-Natural Sciences Class, the Philological-Historical Class and the Class of Engineering Sciences. The first two Classes have existed since the founding of the Academy, and the third began its work in 1996.
