In 2024, 13 NES students and graduates entered PhD programs in Economics, Finance, Political Science, Public Policy and Political Economy of leading international universities.
11 students and graduates of MA programs entered Yale University, University of Chicago, Brown University, University Pompeu Fabra, London School of Economics, Caltech, University of Maryland, USC Marshall, University of Rochester, and Washington University in St. Louis.
Two graduates of the HSE and NES Joint Undergraduate Program in Economics received places in international universities: at the PhD program of the University of Chicago and the pre-doc program of Stanford University.
Last year seven students and graduates of NES Master's programs were accepted to PhD programs of leading universities, such as Stanford Graduate School of Business, Harvard Business School, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, University Pompeu Fabra, Pennsylvania State University, University of Michigan. A 2023 graduate of the HSE and NES Joint Undergraduate Program in Economics was accepted to the pre-doc program of the University of Chicago.
Over more than 30 years of the School's work, every sixth NES graduate has received a PhD degree from one of the world's leading universities: in total, more than 400 people have earned the degree. They have contributed to such academic fields as Economics (67%) and Finance (14%), as well as Management, Business Administration, Operations Research, etc. (4%).
