At the plenary session, the Committee discussed recommendations for the United Nations Economic and Social Council

The Committee for Development Policy (CPD) is a think tank at the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). The task of the CDP is to provide independent advice to the Council on how international cooperation for development could be improved. This year, at the plenary session the Committee discussed recommendations for ECOSOC on the design of next program of actions for LDC, the problems with development policies when multilateralism is under a threat, and the need to facilitate the progress of all countries toward achieving Global Development Goals.
