Seven NES students and graduates have been accepted to PhD programs at leading universities: Stanford GSB, Harvard Business School, University Pompeu Fabra / Barcelona School of Economics, Penn State University, University of Michigan in Ann-Arbor, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. A graduate of The HSE-NES joint program in Economics will join the Becker Friedman Institute for Research in Economics (University of Chicago) predoc program.
From 1992 every sixth NES alumnus has received a PhD degree in one of the world's leading universities: in total more than 400 people have received it. They contributed to such academic fields as economics (67%) and finance (14%), management, business administration, operations research and others (4%).
NES professors' and students' joint research becomes a basis for academic publications. The research results of NES students are published in top academic journals.
