The capital has improved its results by 11 positions compared to last year, which makes the city even more attractive for future students, mentioned QS Research Director Ben Softer.
Three other Russian cities were also included in the ranking: Tomsk moved from 91st to 74th place, Saint Petersburg located on the 76th position, Novosibirsk is on the 96th place. Tomsk and Novosibirsk also entered the top 10 cities in terms of financial accessibility of education.
According to the Ranking, London, Tokyo and Melbourne are at the top 3 of the best student cities.
QS Ranking takes six main criteria into account: the level of universities, the number of international students, city’s attractiveness, labor market in the city, financial accessibility and students’ opinion.
