New Economic School maintains the lead in the Research Papers in Economics (RePEc) - 2019 ranking published in October. The ranking is based on the citation index of academic economists. NES Rector Ruben Enikolopov became the most quoted Russian economics researcher in the last 10 years, and Professor Olga Kuzmina was named the most quoted female economist in Russia in the last 10 years and the only woman in the top 10 of this rating.
Meanwhile, NES ranks first in the rating of the 10 best authors for each institution with publications in the last 10 years and second when counting all authors and all publication years. RePEc covers 161 Russian economic institutions. According to the October 2019 results, the list of the most cited authors includes NES Professor and President Shlomo Weber, professors Hosny Zoabi, Evgeny Yakovlev, Anna Obizhaeva, Grigory Kosenok and others.
