On January 30, the University of Pennsylvania published the 2019 Global Go To Think Tank Index Report. As of 2019, the Center for Economic and Financial Research of NES is presented in the category 'Best Independent Think Tanks' among 145 international centers and has a second place among Russian analytical institutions. CEFIR ranks 15 in 'Top Think Tanks in Central and Eastern Europe' list of 106 select research centers and has the third place in Russia.
In the thematic section, CEFIR ranks 29th among 144 'Top Domestic Economic Policy Think Tanks' from all over the world and, according to the ranking, is the best in our country.

This is achieved with the help of a panel of over 1,796 peer institutions and experts from the print and electronic media, academia, public and private donor institutions, and governments around the world. The index is used by academics, journalists, donors, and the public to locate and connect with the leading centers of public policy research around the world.
