On the 9th of October, Ruben Enikolopov, Rector and Professor of Economics, delivered a lecture at the London Business School's Wheeler Institute conference “Business and Fragile States”.
The topic of his lecture was “Can development programmes counter insurgency? Evidence from a Field Experiment in Afghanistan”.
The purpose of the "Business and Fragile States" conference is to uncover problems of doing business in states with weak institutions that are in crisis and political instability. The conference brings together the largest entrepreneurs, representatives of the academic community and influential non-profit organisations.
